"It's a black hole!"
It couldn't be... The closest black hole was at the center of the Milky Way galaxy, not here by Earth! Kaira watched the blackness as it came ever closer, hearing the panicked screams and fearful cries of the young ones behind her. Oh God, what had they done? They had just as good as killed these poor children...
Gulping back her tears, Kaira turned her back on the Hole and gathered the nearest child, a little girl only 12 years old, to her chest, hiding her face and encouraging her not to look. She then closed her eyes tightly, and waited, unknowing if they would feel their death or be spared that horrific fate...
Several minutes passed, and she opened her eyes in confusion. They weren't dead... But she could see the bright light behind her, and she turned, sweeping the little girl into her arms and backing up. The station was falling to an unfamiliar world, blue and green much like earth but with far more blue. Turning, she raced for the center, knowing it would be the safest place possible and herding several children in front of her. They had to make it, for the sake of these young lives!
The impact was astounding and she thought she heard an odd noise from outside, almost a bugling sound. But that wasn't possible.... Then, she was thrown forwards, the young one knocked from her arms. She slammed into a wall, shifting in time to use her body to cushion a child's impact. Though pain blazed down her spine, she refused to black out, and she worked through it. She had to stay awake. Who know what this world held!
We have to get them out!
Huh? A female voice, in her mind? It sounded panicked, fearful, and the oddity of it alone kept her awake. They had to get out of here. They didn't know what would happen to the station...
Struggling to her feet, gently nudging the child cushioned against her aside, Kaira moved painfully towards the airlock. She didn't know what kind of world they were on, or even if the air was breatheable, but they couldn't stay here. Already, she could smell smoke, and knew that somewhere there was fire in the station. "Get up! We have to get out!" she cried at those she passed, and several she helped to their feet. "Come on, little ones. We have to go." Her voice was soothing, and she quashed the fear she was feeling. Nothing for it, they HAD to get out. She could see several of those she had come with as instructors lying close by, and a quick check revealed the truth to her. All the other instructors were dead, leaving her the oldest person here. Great....
Hurry! Put them out, put them out! That voice again, in her head. Was she going crazy? Or was that her inner voice telling her what to do? She didn't know, but didn't question too much further, forcing the airlock open. Immediately she was faced with two things. Bright sunshine, and the smell of clean air. BREATHEABLE air. Thank God for small things, she thought, forcing it further. "Just a little... More..." Suddenly, it gave, and she yelped as she stumbled forwards. Only to cry out in sheer terror and back up.
"Oh... My... God...."

A black hole? But, there just couldn't be one so close to Earth without the whole planet getting sucked in! She looked over at a boy, no more than thirteen, as he stood there staring at it, fear plastered to his face. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him, blocking his view of the window. She closed her eyes. If this was the end, hopefully it'd be painless...
A few minutes passed, and Eternity suddenly found her eyes flooded with sunlight. She squinted, releasing the boy and looking out the window. A gasp, and she found herself pushing the boy toward the center of the compound. She got just enough of a look to realize that this was not Earth before turning to follow the boy. Running toward the center of the compound. They were going to crash! Before she could make it, the impact sent her flying sideways. A sharp pain at the back of her skull told her that her head had hit the floor, and then she slid under a metal desk that was bolted to the floor. She hoped it would be sturdy enough to protect her... And with that, everything disappeared.
Ug, she hurt all over... Mostly her head. Probably a concussion, hopefully nothing worse than that. She felt something warm on her leg, and there was a spot of sharp pain. She forced her eyes open and moved to sit up, only to bash her head against the underside of a metal desk. She groaned, and the metal sent out a ringing sound that seemed unnatural to her ears. She looked down at her leg, realizing the warm was caused by her own blood, and the shard of metal sticking out of it. She groaned again, reaching down to pull the metal out. At least it wasn't rusted metal... She tossed it away, aware of the scratches now covering her right palm. She shifted her weight and crawled out from under the desk, gasping softly. Those bodies... The instructors... Were they dead? She grabbed the edge of the desk and used it to pull herself to a standing position. That smell... Smoke!
"Anyone who can walk, get up and get out!" she yelled into the room. "This place is on fire!" She wasn't making much progress herself, but she managed to find a break in the hull of the station, limping around due to the injury to her leg. But it didn't seem as bad as it had looked, the metal hadn't gone in all that deep, and the bleeding was already slowing down.
Suddenly, there was a shriek, and she heard murmuring in a familiar voice. She reached into the break in the metal, judging the size before slipping through it. She looked over at the direction of the shriek, limping over toward the one surviving instructor. She opened her mouth to speak before gasping quietly. "Is that... A... Dragon?" she asked softly, looking at the beast before them. "Now I KNOW we're not on Earth anymore..."

"That was already apparent," Kaira said quietly, her eyes trained on the massive creature standing before them. In color, it was a deep, rich black, with a faint gleam like a gemstone, and eyes that were currently a dark yellowish gray in tone. She finally noticed the man standing before it, dwarfed by it and easily able to walk under it and not hit his head. "And I have no idea, although it certainly looks like one..."
Oh move you, you're scaring them. The chiding tone came into her mind, and was accompanied by the black dragon moving, to be replaced by an even LARGER one of iridescent pale blue, whose eyes, like the black ones, were yellow and gray in color. At its feet-her feet?- was a young woman, no older than Kaira herself, who padded forwards and offered her hand. "I apologize for the fright. You're obviously not from here, not used to their presence as we are," she said, her tone matching her words. "I'm Lin, and that's my dragon, Pearl Aketh. She won't hurt you, I promise, and neither will Norieth, the black one. He's an Onyx." Kaira hesitated, and Lin gave her a gentle smile, then looked behind her. "We need to get you guys away. This thing is on fire and I'm not sure how much time we have."
At the reminder, Kaira started, then nodded and turned to Eternity. "Come on. We need to get everyone out." She glanced down and then eyed the young woman. "Go sit over there," she instructed her gently. "We need to see to that leg of your's. It doesn't look too bad, but you don't need to be on it."

Eternity flinched and stepped backward when the black dragon moved, and she stumbled when the big blue one took its place. She recovered pretty quickly though.
"Yeah... We're not from around here," she said, her voice tight as she spoke. Get away? But... Eternity turned around and ducked back inside, moving pretty quickly now, having completely forgotten about the wounded leg. "Serenity!" she cried out. "Serenity, where are you? Hurry up, we need to get out of here before this thing blows!" She stopped when she saw a fluff of brown hair peeking out from under a pile of rubble, and her face paled. "No... No, no, no!" She began pulling things off, tossing them into a pile off to the side. "No, please, not my sister..." she kept muttering. She got enough stuff out of the way to see that it was indeed her sister, and that she wasn't breathing. "Serenity!!" she cried, fighting back the tears. Her mother had made the girls all get CPR and first aid training, that's what happened when you had a nurse for a mom. Once Serenity was free, Eternity went right to work. Thirty pulses, two breaths... And again... But it wasn't working...
Her sister's skin was starting to go cold, and Eternity simply stopped, the tears flowing unrestrained down her cheeks. She touched her sister's face with one hand, there was no color left in those cheeks... She bowed her head for a moment, then stood and began to drag her sister's body toward the airlock. She didn't try to hide the fact that she was crying, but when she pulled Serenity's body away from the wreckage, she simply knelt beside the motionless girl, holding Serenity's head in her lap, like the way people did in the movies. Looking at her sister's face, she held Serenity close and cried, her shoulders shaking.

"Eternity!"
Kaira muttered a curse as the girl ignored her, but didn't focus on her. She'd be okay, she thought. It was the youngest ones that she was worried about, and she plunged back into the station, hearing Lin behind her ordering others to search for survivors and get them out. Make sure you warn them, she thought, as she pulled a little boy to his feet. "Come on. We need to get out of here. The dragons will protect us," she told him, and saw his eyes go wide. "Yes, I said dragons," she reiterated, and several others gathered around her. "The station is on fire. They and their riders seem to be here to help us." With that, she nudged them back towards the airlock, having to trust that Lin and her people WERE there to help, not to take advantage of these newcomers to their world.
We mean you and your's no harm, little ones. Now come on out and we shall see to those bumps and bruises. The female voice stopped her for a moment, and she shook her head. It was different from the first one, lighter and gentler, while the first one had more command to it. She was guessing the Pearl had likely been the owner of the first voice, as she had appeared shortly after commanding the Onyx to move, but this new voice?
"I'm going nuts," she muttered, but continued getting people out, guiding them back to where they needed to get out.
Outside, the dragons were gathering, responding to Aketh's bellow for assistance, and the sheer response pleased the young Queen to no end. Even several of her fellow Pearls showed up to try and find out what was going on. Closest to Eternity was a small Emerald, watching the girl quietly, her swirled hide gleaming in the light. She padded closer, her rider-a young man- moving at her side, and lowered her head to just above the girl's. I am sorry, she said quietly, a truly sad tone to her voice as it rang gently into Eternity's mind.

We mean you and yours no harm, little ones. Now, come on out and we shall see to those bumps and bruises.
The voice shocked her out of her stupor. Was that the dragon's voice? Eternity turned her head and blinked away the tears.
I am sorry. Another dragon...? They were telepathic, then... Eternity looked up at the green dragoness whose head hovered above her. She reached one hand tentatively up and brushed her hesitant fingers against the dragon's hide. It was leathery, but surprisingly soft at the same time. She looked back down at her sister, and made her decision.
She gently laid her sister's body down and stood, looking up. She took a breath and made her way over to where the other ones were gathering. She poked her head inside and found a first-aid kit, breathing a sigh of relief. "Alright, let's get a head count once everyone's outside," she said to no one in particular. She wiped the tears from her face. She had to be strong for the younger children. She might just end up as one of the oldest ones here, if something had happened to too many of the rest.
She walked over to a boy who was holding his arm close to his chest. She got to her knees and opened the first-aid kit. "Can I see your arm?" she asked him softly. He nodded and held it out for her, but he held his wrist still with his other hand. It looked like it was swelling up. "Okay, this might hurt a bit. Can you be a big boy for me?" He nodded again. Eternity reached into the kit and pulled out a splint, making it a specific shape and fitting it to the boy's arm. She tied a gauze triangle into a makeshift sling. "Now just keep it still, alright? It'll take a while to heal." He nodded again, and the girl turned to help the next person.

.: Theodore :.
Theo had been deep in the bowels of the station when they had been pulled into the event. He had seen it, alarms blaring in his ears as the complete nothingness of a black hole slowly destroyed them. His mind went to his family, but even if he knew where they were at this time of day, with how rapidly they were approaching their end, he would not have time to find them. Around him the structures of the station groaned and warped under the stress. With a snap of sound, Theodore's world went black.
It was actually rather a shock to be waking up again. "Well" He managed the word, voice horse and rough, and then fell into a coughing fit. When it was over, he looked carefully around himself. Metal had twisted around him, forming a kind of protective cocoon, likely the only reason he survived. Carefully looking between the twisted lines of his cage, Theo could see, bits. Things that would haunt his dreams for years to come. Closing his eyes, he took several deep breaths. That he could still breath was good, the air was clean, with a scent that only came from being planet bound. There was something about recycled air that no amount of scrubbers could get rid of.
Opening his eyes again, Theo took another look. He suspected he might well be the only survivor from the engineering section. This deep in the station, everything was a terrible mess. He rather hoped, for there sakes, that no-one else from down here was alive, because no-one should have to see what he was seeing. He sat up carefully, hissing with pain as a deep gash down his left shoulder made itself known. Nothing he could do about it now though. He had to get out of here.
The problem was that he wasn't exactly a small man and it took him time to find places where he could pass through the wreckage. As it was, he ended up with several more cuts, though none as bad as the one in his shoulder.
"Kaira!" Stumbling out into the broken light of the viewing section, Theo's eyes fixed on the bright red hair of the doctor. He probably looked atrocious, with his clothing stained with black soot and grease and red blood which was mostly not his own. "Where do you need me?" He asked, ignoring his own injuries and the questions about where the heck they were and who the strangers helping them were, in favour of getting the younger children out and seen to. His shoulder was bleeding only sluggishly now and he felt he could afford to wait to get it seen to.
---------------- .: Serenity Miller :.
Like so many of the others, coming back to herself after the crash was a surprise to Serenity. Everything around her was twisted metal and broken glass, red fire flickering over her skin. Cope now, panic later She told herself, taking a slow breath of the smoky air. She could hear crying around her, proof that she was not the only one still alive. She pushed thoughts of her family out of her mind. She couldn't know if they were alive or dead, and worrying over them was not something she could afford right now.
Near to her she heard a whimpering, a little voice crying to itself in a native tongue which was not english. "<Calm>" She called back "<I'm coming>". Moving carefully she found one of the younger children, trapped by fallen debris but seemingly otherwise alright. "<Do you think you can wiggle through?>" Serenity asked, picking through the debris to try and make a gap wide enough for the child to escape. She got a non-verbal sound of response and then the little girl was scrambling out through the gap. As soon as she was free, Serenity gave the girl a quick check-over to make sure she really was okay.
"<Come on, lets see who else we can find"> She said, hoping that there would be others, that there would perhaps be her own family out there somewhere.

Kaira wheeled as she heard her name, and her eyes locked on the gash in Theo's shoulder. "One moment," she told him firmly, prodding it gently. Satisfied it was not as severe as it looked from a distance, she looked around them. "Help me find the littlest ones. We're still missing at least 2 of the 12 year olds," she told him. She was praying they were okay. "Theo, I don't know where your sister is. I'll just say that now," she added, looking him in the eye. She then turned and headed for a cry of pain, kneeling beside the young man who uttered it. "Easy now. We need to free that leg," she soothed him, then pushed on the metal bar entrapping it. "Theo, come help me!" she called, as he was currently the only one she could see near enough to help her.
The Amethyst who had called the children out was now their bed, many of them cuddled up against her side, entombed in warmth and the comfort she emitted constantly. She looked up as an older Pearl came over to check on them, lifting her wing so her Queen could see them, then lowering it when Gerith was satisfied. The black Pearl then turned, looking around them, and noticed that young Aketh had disappeared. She didn't have time to worry about the blue Pearl right now though. They had others still to work on and help. They are doing much better. Are calmer now, she told her rider, who nodded and continued to watch the girl who'd been comforted by Emerald Risath-still hovering near her- help those needing it.

They'd found a good portion of the kids, and Theo was alright... He'd be more help than she would. She put the first-aid kit next to the boy with what she suspected was a broken arm, and sat down next to it. The gash in her leg wasn't deep, but it was wider than she'd thought. It might need to be stitched up... Jeez, they wouldn't have anesthesia here, would they? That was going to hurt. But for now... She popped the kit open again and dug around inside for a disinfectant wipe. She opened it and gritted her teeth against the sting, then put some generic neosporin on the pad of a big bandaid and stuck it over the wound. That would have to do for now. Hopefully she would avoid getting infected by whatever happened to be floating around in this air.
She stood slowly, testing the leg again. It wasn't hurting so much anymore, at least. She walked back over to her sister's body and knelt down beside it, lifting the girl's torso and holding it close. She saw another girl her age burst out of the air lock, her hair a bit singed, and she knew they didn't have much time before the thing blew. She was just numb now, though. Her sister was dead... She wasn't crying anymore, but her heart still hurt. She knew this pain would last a long time... Serenity had been her best friend as a little kid, the twins were too much older than her to really care much. They'd already started college a few years ago. Aster and Acacia... What would they think? Everyone surely thought that had been a black hole... But it hadn't been.
That black hole... It must've been a wyrmhole instead. That's the only way they could've gotten out alive. Well, some of them, anyway. There were many of them who were lost already, a few of them wouldn't make it to... Wherever these dragons were from. Eternity knew she wouldn't be able to lift her sister's body, she just wasn't strong enough. Thankfully, everyone else was busy helping the others get out. The ones that were still alive.
What were her parents thinking? There was no way her father hadn't seen what happened... He was working mission control for space camp. He'd have called already to tell her mother. He would've called her in the middle of work for something like this. This was a disaster that they were never going to forget... No one would ever forget this...
A sudden wave of heat washed over Eternity, and she looked up in alarm. She gently lowered her sister's body to the ground again and stood. She went over to the airlock door and stuck her head in. "Miss Kiara, Theo, you've got to get out of there soon! The fire's getting dangerously close to the engines, the place is going to blow soon! And we're all still in the danger radius!" she called down the ship. She turned to the children, the dragons and their riders. "We've got to get everyone away from here, and quick," she said, surprisingly calm. "Thank you all for helping us, but if you don't get yourselves away soon, you'll get hurt too."

.: Serenity Miller :.
The little girl had stuck close to Serenity throughout their exploration of the remains of the station. They had come across a few others, not all of them alive. Still Serenity had herself a decent gaggle of little ones to be keeping out of trouble as they carefully made their way towards what Serenity hoped was the out edges of the station. If they could find the hull, they might be able to find an airlock and open it enough to escape into whatever world they had ended up in. Anything would be better than remaining where they were, with the dead air and the flickering fire, he growing heat which told Serenity's sense of logic that something was going to go even more badly wrong soon.
"Sen" One of the younger children grabbed the bottom of her shirt. "What's wrong?" Serenity asked, immediately concerned by the odd look on the little one's face. "I can feel air" The child said, pointing towards a corridor which was less twisted and damaged than the rest of the spaces around them. Serenity nodded "Good catch, we'll go that way" As before, she took the lead, wanting to be the one who found anything dangerous, or at least, more dangerous than anything else in here.
One of the children stumbled and the immediate whimpering cry of pain had Serenity wincing in sympathy. Motioning for the rest of the children to stop, she backtracked to the one who had fallen. The child had gone white and a quick inspection showed blood mixing into the back of her hair. "Alright, let's get you up" Serenity didn't want the girl walking on her own, not when she looked too dizzy and pained to make a straight line. Motioning for two of the other children, they helped get the girl onto her fee,t linking their arms together under hers to keep her steady. "You two okay with her?" Serenity asked, and got a pair of affirmative responses. "Okay, let's get out of here"
Later on, Serenity would admit that the sight of the dragon who was standing at the end of the path they had been following, had been enough to make her breath stop for a moment in both fear and wonder. She shifted herself to stand between the younger campers and the threat, but the creature seemed friendly as it made a cooing sound and sniffed at them. Another person, one who was wholly unfamiliar to her, approached and Serenity was so grateful to see another human, to see a concerned and worried face, that she let them lead them away. She could see that the person was speaking, but in her dizzy relief she couldn't hear them. Her own heart beat pounded in her ears and she stumbled, one of her rescuees reaching out to steady her.
---------------- .: Theodore Miller :.
Theo winced as Kaira poked his shoulder. It might not be bleeding quite as freely any more, but it did still hurt. "I figured" He said when the woman stated that she didn't know where his sister was. It had been difficult enough keeping track of people during a regular day on the station. Here and now? He was surprised they had as much of a clue as they did about who was were. Of course, the fact that there appeared to be some kind of giant monster hovering over some of the children might have something to do with that. Theodore wasn't quite sure any more than he wasn't badly concussed, because he really would not have considered that these creatures, who appeared to be dragons of some variety, were real. Only the fact that the others seemed to be seeing them too reassured him that he wasn't seeing things that weren't there.
Finding a small boy, Theo carefully scooped the lad into his arms, doing his best not to jostle what was clearly a wounded arm. The other children appeared to be being put under the care of the large purple creature and Theo approached to set the boy down with them. The dragons seemed friendly, and appeared to be working with the strangers who were helping with the search for the children and Theodore wasn't the sort to be easily put off just because something was strange or different.
Kaira called him and Theo quickly came to where she was. There was a boy trapped under a heavy metal bar. Crouching next to it, Theo carefully worked his hands under the metal, trying his best to avoid getting cut, though he was not entirely successful. "On Three" He said to Kaira.
"One. Two. Three." On the final count, Theodore set himself and lifted, muscles straining to shift a bit of metal which had never been intended to be moved by human hands in full gravity. His shoulder flared with sharp pain and all the other smaller injuries burned, but none of that was as important to Theodore in that moment as the fact that he had gotten the metal up high enough for Kaira to pull the child free.
The wave of heat hit him as Theodore carefully lowered the metal bar back to the ground. "Damn it" He swore as Eternity shouted out that the station looked ready to explode. "Pass him to me" He said to Kaira, indicating the boy. They had to get out of here and he thought himself better able to move quickly with the burden of the child than the doctor would.

Kaira pulled the boy swiftly out as Theo lifted, not wanting him to strain his shoulder for too long. She heard Eternity call to them even as the wave of heat swept over her, causing sweat to immediately break out on her arms and forehead. She passed the child to Theo, then her head rose, her expression alone telling those around her she'd heard something. Whirling, she raced into the shadows, stopping only a moment to listen again. THERE! Her head snapped around, and she slid into a side corridor, wriggling through some debris and pushing it out of the way.
"I'm coming!" she called, and heard a small whimper of affirmation. Pushing more, she flinched back from what she saw. The source of the sound, a young woman of no more than sixteen, was pinned to the wall by a beam through her stomach. Kaira was stunned she was even alive, much less conscious and able to make noise. "I'm here," she soothed her, running her hand through her hair. This poor thing would not survive, but the LEAST Kaira could do was make her passing gentle. "Shh, shh," she said, resisting the urge to cry as she gently shifted and rested her cheek against the girl's black hair. "Am I going to die?" the teen asked her, and Kaira winced. "Probably," she told her, seeing no reason to lie to her now. "At least... I'm not... Alone..." The young woman's voice trailed off, and Kaira closed her eyes, pain lacing through her as she felt her go limp. "I'm sorry," she whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to the girl's forehead, then sliding away from her body. Getting up, she tensed as she felt the Aries shudder, heard sounds from within the depths of it. Darting out of the room, wriggling back through the debris, she raced for the entrance, hearing the dragons' wings beginning to beat as their riders got the kids out of there and to safety. Some of them should not have been moved, she thought, even as heat flicked at her heels, encouraging her to run faster. She broke out into the open as the first explosion rocked the Aries, cringing and racing for the blue toned dragon who's rider was crying for her to move it. She made it to him and his rider pulled her aboard just as another explosion rocked out, throwing bits of metal and wiring into the air.
The Sapphire leapt into the air as soon as their passenger was on, letting his rider settle her as he winged away, rocking slightly as another explosion rang out, but holding his balance. There we are, he said firmly to his rider, unaware that the girl could also hear. He darted over to where the rest of the dragons had gathered, at the bottom of the sea cliffs, and settled down, turning his head and eyeing their passenger intently. She has what it takes, he said, and his rider blinked, then looked at her as they let her down.

Another girl! Eternity knew she was Theo's sister, but not the girl's name. "Alright everyone, come on! Find a dragon and get on, they'll take us to safety!" she told the younger kids. She pushed the older girl toward a dragon with only a few people surrounding it, and then she went over to the Emerald that had comforted her before. She prayed she'd gotten her sister's body far enough away from the explosion for it to be undamaged.
"Nice moves kid," the Emerald's rider said to her. They landed a good distance away, and Eternity lept off under her own power. She turned to the dragon and rider pair.
"Thank you," she said politely, a small smile on her face. But her blue eyes remained dark. She turned and saw everyone start climbing off dragons, and immediately started counting. "Miss Kiara, I count thirty," she said quickly. "But there are a few that look like they're not going to make it back to... Wherever these dragons are from," she admitted softly. There were a number of crying kids, and older kids who looked like they wanted to cry but were being strong for the little ones. This was the one she belonged to. And there were a few more who were just too stunned still to feel much of anything. She took a breath and stepped forward. "Alright everyone, we know these dragons are not going to hurt us. They've just about saved the lives of every person here. We don't know this world, what dangers lurk in this forest." She looked at Kiara, the only surviving instructor. "You probably know what I'm about to say, don't you? Our only hope of survival is if we go..." Her voice faded, and she placed a hand to her head as a dizzy spell overcame her. Her face went pale as the pain in her head overcame her now that everything was over.
"Easy there little lady," said the rider, grasping her shoulders firmly to hold her up. He put one arm gently around her waist. Normally this would've caused Eternity to shove him away and call him a pervert, but her mind was just too fogged up to think. She did push him away, though, as her stomach lurched, and she fell to her knees at the edge of the cliff, her breath coming in shallow gasps. She coughed and retched over the edge of the cliff, dark from the smoke that she'd inhaled when trying to save her sister. She moaned and sat back against the rocks, the rider sitting next to her with one hand on her back.
"Let's get them all back," he called to the other riders. He knew the message would be carried by dragon telepathy to the ones that his voice couldn't reach. "Let the healers have a look at them." He looked back down at the pale-faced girl. "But you, we'll wait until you feel like you can fly again, alright?" She nodded slowly. Any movement made the pain in her skull worse, and sent waves of nausea through her stomach.

Kaira slid off the Sapphire and hid her wince as she hit the ground, feeling pain lance up her spine where she'd slammed it into the wall during the crash. She'd have to get it looked at later, she thought, then listened as Eternity spoke, nodding. As the girl suddenly stopped, her head swung around, hazel gaze intent on her, and she padded over and knelt at her other side, looking through her hair with the utmost gentleness. "You hit your head didn't you?" she asked her quietly.
"We can't move some of them any further. Some of them should not have been moved at all." This came from Gerith's rider, looking around her at the children. "We'll have to bring the Healers to them." The Pearlrider sighed softly and moved to a particularly young child, who reminded her strongly of her own daughter, and knelt before her. "It's going to be okay. We won't let anything more happen to you," she soothed her, and the little girl nodded, shivering in reaction to the trauma. Gerith.
You three, and you, bring Healers, as many as you can carry. Make sure they are at LEAST Journeyman Rank. Apprentices will do these young ones no good. The four dragons pointed out, 3 larger Topazes and Onyx Norieth, immediately leapt into the air to fulfill their Queen's command, vanishing Between.

.: R'ver and Amethyst Alexith :.
Alexith was not the biggest of Amethysts, in fact she was right at the smallest end of the size range for her colour. But she was still in the middle ranges for dragons as a whole and far stronger than any human could hope to be. They had done what they could for the injured as they pulled them from the wreckage of the craft, and they had carried those they could from away from the site when the call came that the place was going to explode.
We do have some healers here already Alexith spoke up when the queen called for healers to be brought to the scene. A moment of consultation with her rider and then she continued R'ver requests more numbweed and redwort, and one of the regular antiseptics as well. He also says they will need slings for those who can not walk, and braces for those who might have hurt their backs.
The dark haired rider was already moving through the gathered riders, speaking quietly to those he knew had some experience with dealing with the injured, doling out advice and generally getting things organised so that those who had the least experience where working in tandem as an extra pair of hands with people he could trust not to make mistakes. More healers would arrive soon, perhaps even someone with their mastery, a rank which R'ver planned to try for but had not yet made it to. Whomever came with enough rank and age to take over from him would find the place well set into motion.
Spying a red headed women kneeling next to one of the injured, R'ver approached. "Journeyman R'ver, of Amethyst Alexith" He introduced himself curtly as he knelt down next to the younger female, pulling his emergency satchel in so that he could start looking through the contents. "Follow my finger please" He said to the child, slowly waving said appendage back and forth before her eyes, his own sharp gaze watching for how well she tracked the movement. "You their healer?" He asked the woman who had been searching the girl's hair.

Suddenly, Kiara was next to her. She nodded. "My... My leg... It'll need to be stitched up..." She reached into the first-aid kid that had been abandoned on the ground when she had gotten dizzy and started rummaging through it. "When the station first hit, I... I'm pretty sure I hit my head when I hit the floor... And then again when I... When I tried to sit up... I slid under a desk... It protected me, for the most part." Then the Rider came over. She did as he said, but her eyes couldn't stay still when she was looking out to her peripherals. "It's gotta be a concussion..." she said quietly. "I... I know a little bit, my mother's a... a healer," she told the rider. "But, sir... Miss Kiara's the one that... That needs more help..." Eternity looked over at the instructor. "I've noticed... You hurt something pretty bad, didn't you?" She reached one arm up slowly, running her fingers lightly along the woman's back. Her hand stopped. "There... Miss Kiara, you've hurt your back... I'll be alright, I've had concussions before... Part of working on stage." She coughed, her throat still burning.
She knew there were others who needed to be treated more urgently than herself. She knew she'd be alright, her injuries could wait a little while. There were others who may not make it through this if they didn't get treatment soon. Eternity rested her head back on the rocks and closed her eyes. Her sister... Her sister was gone... The one person who had been genuinely happy when she accomplished something, even if the twins had already done it...
"So many people... How many were here to begin with?" Eternity wondered aloud. "We're down to thirty people... A lot of people died today..." She was still talking slow, but she knew the truth of the problem.
"R'ver, anything I can help with?" the EmeraldRider, J'xon, asked. "I know I'm not a healer, but I'll help where I'm needed."
