Appearance : Tre seems like a rather handsome boy. He has the body type that looks like it could easily run to fat if he got the chance. However, due to the malnutrition of his youth and careful monitoring of his food intake, he has managed to keep a good figure.
His skin tone is a creamy brown, showing his mixed heritage. Somehow he got a random quirk of genetics that leaves him with naturally pale sandy hair. His eyes are a rich brown.
Personality: Tre is a bookworm, to put it simply. He has had his nose stuck in a book since he was young. The boy is very non-confrontational, preferring to talk it out rather than fight. He can be a bit ditzy as he is more apt to be lost in thought than paying attention to his surroundings. This leads him to be extremely clumsy and its rare that he doesn't have at least one bruise or scrape.
He can be a bit arrogant and know-it-all, which others find irritating. He is apt to rattle off facts without prompting, despite being told many times to not.
Tre is very family oriented, and his mother and brothers leaving hit him hard, so he doesn't open himself up to anyone except family. So feel special if he decides to share something about himself.
History: Tre had a relatively lackluster childhood. He grew up in moderate poverty, so nearly everything he owned was second hand. He was still happy with what he did get though as poverty does make it easy to see how precious things are.
His parents were a mixed race couple, which attributed to his unusual coloring. He has two older brother and a younger sister. His family was pretty tight nit with each other, and it wasn't often that other family wasn't visiting.
He did well enough in school, though once he got introduced to books, English quickly became his favorite subject and he started harboring ambitions to become a writer when he got older.
His mother and father split up shortly before he entered middle school, so he ended up staying with his dad and sister, and transferred to a new school. His brothers went with his mother, so he didnt see much of them from then on.
Shortly after he turned 15, he was accepted into the space program, and went up on that fateful flight. When he arrived on Pern, he was astounded. He always thought that his last name was amusing, but then he found out that Bitra was real, and he was one of them. He had to be, as his last name was Bitra. As a welcoming present, the Lord Holder of Bitra presented him with a firelizard egg, that hatched into an Onyx. He names the critter Devon after his oldest brother.
Now that the eggs have proved viable, Tre is sort of excited, as the dragons of Pern were amazing. He had to have one of his own.
