General - Serenity is a rather pretty girl. She has a slender build, with just enough in the way of curves to be considered feminine in appearance. At five feet and seven inches tall, she's not quite average height, but neither is she significantly tall.

Skin-tone - As a natural red-head, Serenity has the clear pale skin commonly associated with that colouring. Her skin burns quite easily, and tends to freckle rather than tan.

Hair - A beautiful shade of brilliant red, Serenity wears her hair long, hanging down to the middle of her back. Usually she keeps it tied back in a tight braid, which enhances it's natural wave when she lets it loose.

Clothing - Serenity is a rather feminine girl and has a preference for dresses and skirts over pants. Of course, practicality often demands that she wear pants instead and she is perfectly comfortable in them. When she can, she likes to pair leggings with a more feminine outfit. She's had both ears pierced and has a love of jewellery, with a particular bent towards pocket-watch necklaces. Her most prized is an old fashioned wind-up pocket-watch which Theodore gave to her as a 16th birthday present.

Personality:

Polyglot/Multi-cultural - Serenity has a deep fascination with language. She can speak several, and knows how to read and write in several more. The cultures behind the words are equally fascinating to her, and Serenity spends a lot of time throwing herself into the practises of other cultures.

Diplomatic - With her preference for trying to find peaceable solutions to conflicts as well as her talent for trying to see both sides of any argument, Serenity is a natural fit for a position as a diplomat. In fact, that was what she wanted to do as a career, wishing to join the diplomatic core as a translator.

Wilful - A strong will seem to run in Serenity's family. Once she has decided on a course of action, she is not easily dissuaded from her task. While she's fairly good at compromise, as is to be expected by someone with a diplomatic bent, Serenity is not one to walk about from the negotiations without getting at least something that she wanted.

Body-concious - Like many young women, Serenity can be somewhat self-concious about her looks. Serenity is well aware that her colouring makes her stand out and she can get quite flustered when people are paying large amounts of attention to her outside of a formal setting. When she hatched, Berylth was a single solid colour, a beautiful shade of patriarch purple. From the first days after her hatching however, her extremities have darkened and while it isn't an extreme colour change, it is noticeable. The iridescent sheen which is seen on some amethysts is out in full force on Berylth's hide, showing up strongly against her strong purple hide.

Though she was of perfectly average size at hatching, perhaps even a little on the smaller side, at full growth, Berylth will stand at forty five feet in length, equal to a small topaz in size. For much of her weyrlinghood Berylth will have an awkward figure, seeming to be all legs and wings and paws. Her coordination will be terrible, her body growing too fast for her to keep up. Once she reaches her full growth however, she will fill out, taking on the sleek appearance for which Amethyst dragons are known. Lithe in figure, Berylth will be as strong as any dragon her size, without being overly muscled. Her coordination, both in the air and on the ground, shall be impeccable and she will be known for her fine control.

Lily's build can be rather deceptive at times. Possessing a longer than usual tail, Lily, when measured nose to rump, is a smallish amethyst, but her tail adds quite a bit to her length. She's fairly light weight, made for aerial acrobatics and bursts of speed.

Colour wise, Lily is a strong mid-purple shade as a base tone. Her head, underside, the insides of her legs and her wingsails are all coloured in a pale purple shade, while a darker colour spots along her back, shoulders, down her hindlegs to the knee, over her wing-arms and colours each toe.
