So I know it is difficult to keep track of marks in a normal setting without showing them somewhere, but here's how it works:
Please be sure to Update your Bank at least once a week to reflect new totals!
Earning Marks:
-FIRST Character gets you Thirty Marks. These are to be spent ONLY on this first Character. Any left are considered to be in the character's purse. This is the only character that this will apply for.
-Every NEW character gets you Ten Marks.
-Each Post Earns Two Marks.
-Plot Specific Characters earn Fifteen Marks. These marks will apply only to this character.
-Posting an Ad on another site earns you Fifteen Marks. You must PROVE this posting.
-If you refer a new person, and they make a new character and remain for a month, it will earn you Twenty Marks.
-Adopting a Character earns you 20 Marks.
Spending Marks:
Characters can Spend marks on anything, but there are some important things of note that will be stated here.
Starting Pets-
Fire-Lizard:
( Note: Diamond and Lapis are considered Very Rare, while Aquamarine is considered Rare )
5 Marks for Random Common
7 Marks for Random Uncommon
9 Marks for Random Rare
12 Marks for Random Very Rare
8 Marks for Specific Common
10 Marks for Specific Uncommon
12 Marks for Specific Rare
15 Marks for Diamond King or Lapis
We have far too many Queens, so for now, they are not purchasable
Sea Serpent:
5 Marks for Random Common
8 Marks for Specific Common- Blue, Silver, Teal
10 Marks for White
12 Marks for Red
Gold Rank will ONLY be Given out through Play or Special Events
Canine/Feline: 3 Marks
HAD: 150 Marks
Flit Trainer: 100 Marks (Character can have up to 9 Flitters)
Sea Serpent Trainer: 150 Marks (Character can have up to 6 Serpents)
Ranking Dragonrider Character: 300 Marks
Dragon Of Unusual Size Token: 50 Marks
Stand Impression: 45 Marks
Find a Wild Flitter Clutch: 100 Marks (Size will be determined by Admin)
Find a Wild Sea Serpent Clutch: 250 Marks (Size determined by Admin. Higher price is due to rarity of this critter)
Second Impression for the Dragonless: 350 Marks
Relation to Existing Major Pern Family: 100 Marks ( Last name of major settler mentioned in DragonsDawn. If you have any questions, Lynn does own this book and the info should also be online.)
